Banana Bread

Cream:
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening

Add:
6 ripe bananas, mashed
4 well beaten eggs

Add:
2 1/2 c. Flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1tsp. salt
1 c. nuts (opt.)

Important: do not overmix. Pour into 2 greased and floured bread pans. Bake at 350* for 1 hour or until done. Cover with foil while cooking.
