Buttercream Frosting

½ cup butter
½ cup vegetable shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
3 T. milk
1 lb. powder sugar ( about 4 cups)
Cream together butter, shortening and add vanilla and salt. Blend in sugar1 cup at a time. Add milk and beat at high speed until light and fluffy.
